Meet the RAHM Contestants for the fist time before the Contest! Conversations, finger food and drinks – start your networking weekend at ease in a pleasant, friendly atmosphere. We will meet up at the bar to already catch up! (Drinks & snacks at your own expense)

Dinner Arrangements

We are preparing the list of the restaurants within the area of different price range and menu offers, to make sure everyone can find something to their taste. You will find the list of suggestions with possible reservations below. For proper coordination we will arrange Table Captains to bring everyone safe and sound to the restaurants. Captains will be announced during the RAHM Contest.

PRIDE PARADE DUBLIN AND THE PRIDE AFTERPARTY - General Information

On the day of the Pride, put on your best costume and join us for the Pride Parade! We are all heading for the Dublin LGBTQ+ Pride Parade and join Googlers and their float! 🏳️‍🌈 💃🏽

We will meet you at 12:45 in front of the Custom House entrance (across the street from Paddy’s Palace hostel – that side)

We will wait for 15min. If you’ve missed us, we will be joining Gayglers in the Parade at the Liberty Hall – that’s were one of the entrance point for joining the Parade is.

Dublin Pride has a strict bag-size policy so please note that if you do decide to bring one, it must be no larger than a piece of A5 paper.

 

AFTER-PARTY

Followed by the afterparty @Xico Dublin! The door opens from 19:00. We will keep you updated on Telegram, if we have a RAHM meeting point. When joining the afterparty, just tell that you are part of the RAHM Contest hosted by Google

Letter of Dispense + Letter for Visa

Below you can find the letter of dispense that you can present to your employer. You can use it to request paid holiday days and to request for your company to cover the costs.

The 2nd letter can be used for your Visa application. To add your personal data, make a copy of it and save it to your Google Drive. Steps: Click File → make a copy/download as/add to my Drive

Both letters are signed by the CEO of UHLALA (organiser of RAHM) Stuart Cameron.

Dress Code, Crowd Ranking, Smartphones

Dresscode
Come as you are. Suits are not required.

 

Crowd ranking vote – How does it work?

As you may already know, the RAHM Contest Winner is chosen by all the participants (so-called crowd ranking). The voting takes place via your smartphone.

Don’t worry: There is nothing to prepare for the day. Everything is explained on the spot. Just come and have a great time!

Smartphone !!!

Since you will use your smartphone for voting, you will need it throughout the day. The voting will take place via a mobile website, you will not need any special apps. Wifi is provided.

Please bring your charger with you. There will be charging stations on site. For those who do not have a smartphone, paper forms will be provided. Please inform Katrine before the Contest, if that is the case.

 

How can I get to know the other participants?

All RAHM Contestants become part of the RAHM Community. There is LinkedIn & Facebook group for all members. Additionally, each contestant receives a RAHM Booklet containing contact information of fellow contestants.

In the end of April, we are launching RAHM Members’ App available on Google Play and Apple Store.
