Awards and Prizes

Seize the opportunity to offer a prize to the Winner, the Top 10 or even the 100 finalists of RAHM 2018!
Your prizes contribute highly towards the empowerment of LGBT Leaders who will shape the world of tomorrow, and thus connect those outstanding leaders to you and your company. Last but not least, your prizes make the RAHM Contest more consistent, and therefore more attractive.
Last year, vast majority of the RAHM Jury members offered coaching, workshops, tickets to events, prize money, mentoring, dinner invites etc. (see the Prizes from 2017 here).
In return, we’ll make your prize(s) known and visible. We can announce your prize or gift on our social media network and at the award ceremony or in a more discrete way – depending on your preferences.

Dinner Arrangements

We have made some arrangements for dinner so that you don’t go hungry. See the list of suggestions with possible reservations below. For proper coordination we have found leaders (the “Captains”) to bring everyone safe and sound to the restaurants. Captains will be announced during the RAHM Contest.

Public Transportation Ticketing

You can buy a public transportation ticket at the service desks or ticket machines that are placed in every station. There are various options of tickets. Choose the most convenient for you! One ticket is valid for all forms of transportation – S-Bahn, U-Bahn, bus & tram.

  1. BerlinAB Day ticket, 7 EUR – works until the next day’s 3am
  2. Single Fair ticketAB, 2,80 EUR – is valid for 2 h journey

PLEASE NOTE! Your ticket has to be validated by stamping it! It can be done by inserting it in a small machine, usually next to the ticket machine. If not stamped, the ticket is not valid!

Arrival event location

Public transportation: Stations next to the location are S-Bahnhof Westend, U-Bahnhof Richard Wagner Platz.

If you are travelling from the Berlin Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), take any train to Westkreuz, from Westkreuz take S41 (Ringbahn) and get out at Westend. There are just 10 min left of walking to ESCP Europe Berlin!

If you arrive with RB10 or RE4 (regional train), your stop is S+U-Bahnhof Jungfernheide. Switch to S41 (Ringbahn) and get out at Westend.

Dress Code, Crowd Ranking, Smartphones

Dress code for participants and jury:

Come as you are. Suits are not required.

How does it actually work?

  • As you may already know, the winner is chosen by the participants (crowd-ranking)
  • The voting takes place via smartphone or devices provided by us.
  • Do not worry: You do not have to (and can not) prepare for the day. Everything is explained on the spot. Just come and have a great time

Smartphone !!!

Since you need your smartphone for the voting, it is indispensable throughout the day. The voting will take place via a mobile website, you will not need any special apps and there is WLAN on site.

Please, bring your charger with you. There will be charging stations on site. For those who do not have a smartphone, emergency paper forms will be on site.

How can I stay in touch with other participants?

A LinkedIn group for all participants will be created after the event and also a RAHM booklet with all information. Additionally, we are launching a new online community for all RAHM members with their online profiles in September.
