WORKSHOP CLINICS & NETWORKING EVENTS

An exciting highlight of the RAHMentoring program will be the WORKSHOP CLINICS & NETWORKING EVENTS.  These events are open for all and will offer unique opportunities for mentors and mentees to network with one another whilst at the same time engage on topics and trends in the area of professional development and career enhancement.  The clinics are content rich, highly interactive and moderated by experts from various professional walks of life. Mentors and mentees will be strongly encouraged to attend these multi-faceted learning and networking events.

The clinics are content-rich, highly interactive and moderated by experts from various professional walks of life. Mentors and mentees will be strongly encouraged to attend these multi-faceted learning and networking events. The clinics will incorporate multiple time blocks with short plenary sessions and group work which will allow participants to connect and welcome new RAHMers and meet up with older ones. They will work hands-on, together in break-out rooms on team challenges. The instructors will be checking in on groups, either to observe, unblock any thought congestion or provide guidance.

Whilst the instructors aim to stimulate focus, learning, and creativity, it is the group activities that will provide the opportunity for teams to put into practice their newly learnt know-how, use their collaborative and communication skills and present their findings, after which feedback will be provided. Participation certificates will be issued to all those that attend.

We will be identifying speakers and ideas within the RAHM community and external experts and personalities. This is your opportunity to give back to the community and host one of the clinics. Should you be interested in hosting a clinic, then read on and click the button below.

Additional information

  • Workshop clinic instructors are professional experts in the subject matter.

  • Use an interview setting instead of a traditional ‘keynote’ plenary.

  • Clinics feature collaborative activities with attention to the total participant experience that allow participants to engage with the instructors, ask questions, get feedback and interact in other ways.

  • The break-out activity will be a challenge or scenario, where the participants put into practice what they have been presented. They will work as a team to manage the task at hand.

  • They will then go back into the plenary style setting to present their work.

  • After which they will go back into their break-out groups and provide feedback for one another.
